BACKGROUND:
Sony Mobile had a product tab microsite linked on their Facebook page which was inaccessible, and a waste of space. We wanted to utilise this media space.  

IDEA: 
What will be your Xperia?

We wanted to create an experience bridging the social Facebook page and the informative sonymobile.com website.

The idea was to tap into the behaviour of peoples mobile phone being an extension of their persona, and to inject an emotional connection into the customer.

We would do this by using short video clips and stories of real people, from the moment they decided to upgrade their phone, that moment when they first turned it on, to when they take their first 'selfie' with the Xperia Z1 phone. Capturing peoples genuine reactions as a series of moments whilst informing and showing product functionality.
